USTA Tri-Level League Information

If you want to play with friends but are all at different NTRP levels or if you are having a hard time getting enough people together to form a team, Tri-Level is for you!   Play doubles with your friends on a team consisting of 3 NTRP levels.  Example, one 3.5 doubles, one 4.0 doubles and one 4.5 doubles = Tri-level team.   This socially competitive league is a great way to enjoy the camaraderie of friends in the ultimate team experience.

Guidelines

  • Tri-Level is a single gender league for Men's Teams and Women's Teams (no Mixed Doubles)
  • Format is 3 individual matches with one doubles match at each of the following three levels:  3.5, 4.0 & 4.5
  • Doubles partners are same-level and play opponents of same level
  • Valid NTRP computer rating or self-rating required.  Note:  Self-rated players are not allowed to participate at Tri-Level Nationals.
  • USTA Membership required.
  • Participation counts towards players’ NTRP rating.
  • Local League winners will advance to the Mid-Atlantic Tri-Level Sectionals.  Tournament dates TBD.
  • Tri-Level Sectional winners will represent Mid-Atlantic at Tri-Level Nationals in March 2012.  Tri-Level Nationals are held at the BNP Paribas Open during the final weekend.
