All captains interested in forming a USTA Tri-Level team must attend
this informational meeting. If you can’t attend, please send a representative.

Tri-Level League Information
If you want to play with friends but are all at different NTRP
levels or if you are having a hard time getting enough people together to form a team, Tri-Level is for you!
Play doubles with your friends on a team consisting of 3 NTRP levels. Example, one 3.5 doubles,
one 4.0 doubles and one 4.5 doubles = Tri-level team. This socially competitive league is a great
way to enjoy the camaraderie of friends in the ultimate team experience.
Guidelines
- Tri-Level
is a single gender league for Men's Teams and Women's Teams (no Mixed Doubles)
- Format is 3 individual matches with one doubles
match at each of the following three levels: 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5
- Doubles
partners are same-level and play opponents of same level
- Minimum age is 19 years
old NTRP based
valid computer or self rating required (Self-rated players are not allowed to participate at Tri-Level Nationals)
- USTA
membership required Register
and report results through TennisLink
- Tri-Level is a division offered by USTA Sections.
USTA Sections can be represented at the 2010 Tri-Level National Championships.
- Format
will be best of two sets. In the event if split sets, a match tiebreak shall be played in lieu of a third
set.
- Matches will be played indoors weekend evenings during November & December.
Club membership is not required.
- Participation does count towards players’
NTRP rating.
Advantages
- Courts will be reserved by the league coordinators.
Captains will not have to secure their own home courts. (Court fees will apply.)
- Choose
your own team and stay on your same team forever! Friends, family, and co-workers stay together and they play together!
- League
winners have a chance to go to Tri-Level Nationals in March 2010. (2009 Tri-Level Nationals were at the
Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells, CA.)
